The Promises She Keeps- Erin Healy

I absolutely loved reading this book. From page one I was drawn into the story of these two women who couldn't be more different. Promise just wants to be remembered once she dies from cystic fibrosis. Porta wants a life of beauty and immortality. Promise knows her time is limited because of multiple people she knew died from it.

Promise is a college student and has dreams of singing. She wants people to remember her from her voice.

Chase is an autistic artist who becomes attracted to Promise. His art fascinates Promise.

Invasion by Jon S Lewis

Invasion is about a boy Colt McAlister. Colt's parents died in a freak car accident which forces him to move to Arizona to be taken care of by his grandfather. At his new school he only knows one person which is Dani. Colt believes his parents accident wasn't really an accident. His mother was an investigative reporter and was going to expose a secret program from one of the world's largest companies; Trident Biotech. Colt believes he must uncover the truth. Dani, Oz, and Colt begin trying to find out the truth of his parents death. Colt and his friends encounter aliens in the novel. I didn't really like this book. It was hard to stay on task reading it. But it is very interesting.
